Nothing is more glaringly obvious than a 40 year old woman trying to recapture her teenage years. Women don't look younger by trying to be something they are not. There are ways to enhance the beauty that comes at all stages of life. The key to "looking younger" is by looking "ageless" not stuck in a bygone era.
Any woman can look stunning regardless of her age by taking proper care of her health, paying attention to her appearance, and making the most of what she's got. The right diet, lifestyle habits, beauty rituals and products go a long way to creating a beautiful, timeless look that will keep everyone guessing.
This website is dedicated to highlighting healthy habits and techniques that will keep you looking great no matter what your age. Outer beauty is a direct reflection of what's going on inside. If you eat right, exercise, use good products, and take time to manage stress etc. you will continue to defy your age for years to come.
Throughout the various sections of this website we also have comment boxes in place and we encourage our visitors to share their own tips and ideas - particularly if they are unusual or if you have tried something that you feel really showed results. - This is NOT a ticket to spam or advertise however and violating posts will be immediately removed.
Have you found that as we get older, increasingly we become more "invisible" to marketers - with the exception of those selling gimmicky high priced "creams and potions" etc. It seems most of the makeup is catered to the teens and 20 somethings. Powders and foundations that just don't work for us because they settle into fine lines and wrinkles etc. It seems I spend a great deal of time looking for affordable makeup that is not full of glitter or too powdery etc.
Perhaps it is for this reason that so many women continue to use the same products for years on end. Unfortunately what looked fine at 20 will age you at 40 and beyond.
Personally, I am a big advocate of makeup only on special occassions. I look younger than my age primarily due to diet, the use of sunscreen, and regular moisturizing and facials with natural products I make myself or have in my kitchen. Bananas and vitamin E oil for example do wonders for winter dry skin! Eat a diet rich in amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, and above all stay hydrated with pure water. Those are the best beauty tips - honest. The skin is the largest organ of the body and it directly reflects to the world what we are putting into our bodies. If you dont' want wrinkles and sagging skin - eat right and kick the sweet tooth habits. I battled sugar addiction for years. When I finally got it out of my life and indulged only a few times a year on very special occassions my skin showed the results almost immediately.
At 32 (when I gave up refined carbs/sugar) I had my ID checked several times when ordering a glass of wine with dinner or going to the comedy club - even in the grocery store :) - prior to that I looked older than my age and was never asked for ID. I did it all free - with diet, exercise, natural products and very limited makeup. The makeup I do wear is not heavily applied and I go natural as much as possible.
Today no one believes I am 40 they all guess me to be early 30's :).
